8:00-8:30 – coffee, bagels, muffins and introductions
8:30-11:00 – Morning with Cathy and Pam
8:40-9:10 - Experience a Problem String with Pam
9:10-9:40 - Experience a Problem String, Number Strings versus Number Talks with Cathy
9:40-10:00 - Break
10:00-10:30 - What is a Problem String, Why are They Important, Structures (Pam)
10:30-11:00 - Behind the Numbers: Role of context/models/landscapes (Cathy)
11:00-12:00 – Buffet Lunch (sandwiches, salads, and clam chowder), participants sign up for the afternoon session of their choice and then enjoy the boardwalk
12:00 - Afternoon (2 grade span groups)
K-5 with Cathy Fosnot
6-12 with Pam Harris
3:00-3:30 – Facilitated conversation on questions from the back-burner
